Once a month, Wemanity organizes the Open Wemanity Day: a day dedicated to the ideas, projects and passions of our Real Wemans. Based on the principles of the Open Space Technology and the Lean Startup Business Modelling, everyone at Wemanity can initiate a project and shape it with like-minded people. All our collaborators can participate in it.

The 5 principles of the Open Wemanity Day:

1) Whoever comes is "the right people"

This principle is there to remind us all that getting something done is not always a matter of scale, quantity of people involved or directions coming from the CEO. The fundamental requirement for success is people who care. So anyone who shows up is always ‘the right people’.

2) Whatever happens is the only thing that could have

This principle keeps people focused on the here and now, and eliminates all of the could-have-beens, should-have-beens or might-have-beens. What is, is the only thing there is at that moment in time.

3) Whenever it starts is the right time

This principle alerts people to the fact that inspired performance and genuine creativity rarely, if ever, pay attention to the clock. They happen when they happen.

4) When it’s over it’s over

Don’t waste time. Do what you have to do, and when it's done, move on to something more useful.

5) Law of Two Feet

If at any time you find yourself in a situation where you are neither learning nor contributing – use your two feet and move to some place more to your liking. Such a place might be another group, or even outside into the sunshine. No matter what, don’t sit down feeling miserable.
